CarMax: Used Cars for Sale App Reviews

The app used to work fine. Now it continuous to crash and pages wont load. Just keep getting the spinning tire.

Certainly a lot of room for improvement, but gets the job done.

A used car chain that allows a buyer to look across states is a plud.

I love the app! The user interface is easy and simple. It knows what to look for.

Great app for searching and seeing inventory, vehicle history, etc. But when someone reserves a vehicle for a test drive, it shows as "Sorry...Sold" (with a frown face) in the my saved cars section, even though the car may only be reserved and not actually have been purchased by someone else. The tendency when seeing that its "sold" is to delete it from my saved cars, so its confusing when the same vehicle shows back up in a vehicle search a day later. Also, when I reserved a vehicle for a test drive, it showed as "Sorry...Sold" even though I know its NOT sold and instead its reserved for me. (It Should say something like "Reserved for You" with a smiley face. I would rate this as a 5 if the Sold notification in My Saved Cars wasnt so misleading for reserved vehicles, particularly for a vehicle that I reserved.

Half of the listings I look at crash the app entirely. Also, not being able to save or bookmark a car without registering for an account is an unnecessary obstacle. Im shopping for a car, not trying to maintain a lasting relationship with this company.

Like the title, easy to use and informative. I like being able to search the inventory and how it shows the option to transfer (if applicable) a vehicle from from one store to the next.

I turn to Car Max.

I use to really love using this app. At least I did until the most recent update. When youre viewing a listing of cars, it constantly is showing you a phone number to call. Why would I want to call from there? Please remove this.

Love to be able to easily pay my bill and see how much I have left to pay!

When the app works, its seamless. Very easy to navigate, easy to use. Love the ease of paying car note through the app. However it crashes or cannot connect to servers ridiculously too much.

Makes payment easy and accessible without having to use the cite. Simple to ready.

Carmax is amazing. Ive purchased two cars there and just sold my third to them. Extremely well run organization.
